| Analog

Young Nino : For covering the camera in mirrors like that, I do this: clone it out with clone stamp -- then spot heal to reduce the obvious repeat cloning -- then airbrush the color of the wall over the area with 0% hardness 15% opacity paint brush
Scott Windsor : Hi Rich, thanks for making these videos learn so much from them they are great. To save you all that hassle when you're cloning out something, instead of using the clone stamp tool or the patch tool, use the content aware fill instead. I find that works so much better. Make your selection around the object you want to delete as normal, hold down shift and press the backspace button. Press ok to the content aware box and hey presto, all should be good and the object should be removed a lot more cleaner. Hope this helps :)
Oscar R : Awesome tutorials... Thank you for making your knowledge available to all of us who want to get into Real Estate photography. Can you please tell where I can find the different settings of your lightroom presets ("full-bump", "special sauce", etc.)?... And once again thank you for great tutorials.
Billy Higginbotham : Awesome, informative, and fun as usual Rich! Oh yeah and your entertaining sips of coffee tie it all together in yet another great tutorial. Thanks again Rich, you rock!
Kevin McCarthy : This video helps me to understand why it takes me 3 or 4 hours to process!! Here's me: "let me try the patch tool. . .nope. . .now the clone tool. . .nope. . .dang it, now I made a hard border around the patch. . .how about the new "content aware fill". . .sliders? checkboxes? huh?. . nope. . now the light and shadows are all mixed up. . oops, I missed that little piece there. . . " "tick, tick, tick". . 20 minutes goes by before I know it!!

#studioportraits #Softlighting #lightingturorial
Mark Day photography : For all those wondering about light ratios, shot of transmitter at 11:09 shows Group A (key (umbrella)) 1/8; Group B (kicker (reflector)) 1/64; Group C (hair(snoot)) 1/128 - that's assuming Mark used these settings! Kicker light being 3 stops lower than the key light seems to a good place to stsrt.
Gene Berkenbile : Great stuff, Mark! As always, your content is something I use to teach others in my group I administrate so they know exactly what to do with a given situation! You are always mentioned as the source of anything shared so they know who it is that is giving the information!... Your Awesome! ... Thanks!
Slowly Rusting : Thanks, Mark. I find myself taking more and more portraits of my family (children and grandchildren) in my home, and theirs. This is a very portable, and affordable, set-up.
Gordon Elwell : Great video! Love the components flying in from off camera! Nice. Way better that the time you were bending down to pick up stuff from the floor, etc. Nicely done, Mark (and team)!!
Barky Von Schnauzer : As always Mark is amazing. I've been following for years now, and my photography has improved immensely
